Day 103

It was a fun-filled Friday, packed with adventure! After taking Dad to work, Mom and Ben met up with some of Mom's friends at Bruegger's to enjoy some coffee and company. Ben was so comfortable in Melissa's arms that he fell fast asleep!

Alison was looking adorable as usual, with her little Kimchi Bean still cookin'.

The two then headed out to Indiana to hang out with Grammy while she was babysitting cousin Jade.

Grammy had this great idea, "Why don't we try to give Ben some oatmeal?" Hilarity ensued...



A few drops of oatmeal may have actually been consumed.

Soon it was time to go back downtown to pick up Daddy from work. From Longworth Hall the trio turned south to Ft. Thomas, KY to check out the art show of Dad's boss and his wife. So many great works of art! So many friendly people! Dad carried Ben around proudly, eager to show him off to everyone he knew.

Ben did such a great job of being friendly and charming. Mom was really impressed that he lasted this long, being such a sweet, pleasant baby amidst all of the running around and socializing. By about 7pm, he was starting to show signs of weariness, so the family headed for home before a meltdown could happen.

Even after getting home and changed into pajamas, Ben kept on chatting, smiling and cooing for Mom and Dad until he was rocked to sleep. This little family couldn't be more in love!
