Day 214

Ben slept so soundly all through the night, once again. And it was the first time that Mom actually had to wake him up in the morning, because they had to get Daddy to work. (It's not easy to wake up a little person who looks this comfortable; all squished up in the corner of his crib.)

After taking Dad to work, Ben and Mom met a friend for lunch. They were supposed to meet with both Amanda and Marnie, but Marnie had to cancel last-minute because both of her little girls were having a melt-down! Ben was great at lunch, sitting in his carseat for over an hour as the two friends talked and enjoyed catching up. 

Mom figured that Marnie's girls would have calmed down by the time she left lunch, so she picked up a couple of chocolate shakes from McD's and brought them over to Marnie's house. (She was very appreciative of the treat!) Ben got to hang out with some of his favorite people... girls! He and Marnie's youngest, Liza, played around on the floor while the moms had a chance to talk.

A big nap was in order after getting back home.

And then some play time before going back out to get Daddy...

When Dad got home, Ben decided to do a perfect demonstration of how he can crawl right across the living room! Yay!!



Looks like a weekend of baby-proofing is coming up...
