The rest of the day was spent on the road. He and Mom logged almost 150 miles, going from downtown (to take Daddy to work) and to Mason to drop off the car to get fixed. There he sat in the waiting lounge for almost 2 hours, perfectly happy to entertain himself on a blanket.
Grammy picked them up there and they went to cousin Jade's house for Grammy to do her babysitting gig. The cousins got to hang out with Grammy for a while, and Mom got to take a little nap. :)
From there they headed back to Cincinnati to run a few more errands before picking up Daddy from work. Together the family braved the rush-hour traffic from downtown to arrive in Mason around 6:30... only to find out that the shop closed at 6:00.
Finally the trio made it home. Mom was a little frustrated and frazzled, but looking over at this smile made things much brighter:

This long day of travel must have worn him out, because he went to sleep very quickly. At the time of this writing, it is almost midnight and Ben is being soothed back to sleep by Daddy. Here's hoping that his first night in his own room in the big crib goes well! Updates to follow.
