Day 73

It was a fun-filled Wednesday for Ben and Mom! After dropping Dad off at work, they met Mom's old work friends for lunch. Ben was a champ during his second restaurant visit! He sat contentedly in his car seat and charmed Mom's friends with smiles and coos. 

After that, they took another short car ride to meet Grammy for dessert. He napped during the drive and was smiley and pleasant during dessert, too. What a good boy! They were even able to make yet another trip out to the Post Office and Michael's before heading home for a bit. 

It was the drive downtown to pick up Dad from work when Ben's patience ran out. Mom cranked up the rock radio station while Ben screamed the whole way there. (Aaaaahhh!! Mom's blood pressure probably tripled during that drive.) Once Dad could drive them back home, Mom could get in the back seat to offer a bottle and calming shhhh's. Whew! 

Overall, a great day. Mom is so grateful that Ben travels so well!
